Chevalier Screening with Searchlight

In partnership with Searchlight, D-Composed hosted an exclusive first-look screening of Chevalier.

We invited our community to fellowship with us as we celebrated the life of Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges.

The illegitimate son of an African slave and a French plantation owner, Joseph Bologne rises to improbable heights in French society as a celebrated violinist-composer and fencer, complete with a love affair and falling out with Marie Antoinette.

Transporting our audience to the 1700s was the sounds our ensemble performing String Quartet No. 3 by Joseph Bolonge, Chevalier de Saint-Georges.

Joining us was Khelsey Zarraga on violin, Clayton Penrose-Whitmore on violin, Wilfred Farquharson on viola, and Lindsey Sharpe on Cello.
