Moderne

The second movement of D-Composed Moderne featured the works of modern composers such as Tomeka Reid, Evan Williams, Carlos Simon, and Daniel Bernard Roumain. 

Further bringing the theme to life were Martell cocktails prepared by Tim Williams of Pour Souls Cocktail. Each composition had an accompanying cocktail inspired by the arrangement. 

The event was held in the arts incubator Good Details located in Pilsen. Guests were surrounded by the modern artwork of Chicago artist Shani Crowe. 

Musicians of the evening include Caitlin Edwards and Kyle Dickson on Violin, Danielle Taylor on Viola, and Tahirah Whittington on Cello.
