D-Compressed x Chicago Ideas Week

D-Compressed featured a unique fusion of live classical music during a yoga class. A string quartet performed a medley of songs from traditional black composers as well as popular tunes from famed pop-culture icons. For the debut of the experience, Asia Jones of Trap Yoga lead the experience with rhythmic movements that mimicked the flow of the music.

D-Compressed made its debut during Chicago Ideas Week at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Chicago.  All music was arranged by artistic director Danielle Taylor. Featured quartet included Caitlin Edwards on Violin, Kyle Dickson on Violin, Danielle Taylor on Viola, and Tahirah Whittington on Cello.
