Today at Apple: Music Lab Narratives

For Black History Month, D-Composed was invited to participate in Apple’s Today at Apple series. The program was in collaboration with poet & writer Raych Jackson. 

The event featured a keynote by Founder & Executive Director Kori Coleman, a short performance by the string quartet,  a conversation between Artistic Director Danielle Taylor & poet Raych Jackson, and a writing workshop led by Raych.

A special highlight of the program was the debut of the newest concept, D-Composition which is our collaboration with spoken word artists and string musicians to breathe new life into the written word.
